Minister Thapa inspects Mechi Zonal Hospital

Bhadrapur, Oct 7: Minister for Health, Gagan Thapa, today made an inspection tour of the Mechi Zonal Hospital, Bhadrapur to take stock of the ground situation. 

Minister Thapa instructed the hospital management to focus on making sure that the patients coming for treatment at the Mechi Zonal Hospital from primary health posts do not face problems in facilities. 

On the occasion, Minister Thapa pledged to provide Rs 8.5 million for purchasing two machines for dialysis of kidney patients. The process for filling up the vacant posts of specialist doctors and medical officials in hospitals and health institutes through the country has started, he added. He also asked the hospital chief to come up with a master plan for development and expansion of the hospital. 

Mechi Zonal Hospital's Chief, Dr Pitambar Thakur, apprised the Minister of the services provided by the hospital and its problems. RSS
