Kathmandu, Oct 7: Nepal Telecom's GSM 3G mobile service has now percolated through to all the 75 districts of the country.
With the launch of the service at Dunai locality of Dolpa and Simikot in Jumla, the high-end 3G service is now accessible in all parts of the country, according to Telecom's Spokesperson, Prativa Baidya. The company introduced the service at Dunai on October 5 and at Simikot the next day.
The Telecom introduced the service in the country on May 17, 2007. It was initially launched within the Chakrapath circumference inside Kathmandu Valley and later spread to other districts. The consumers can now avail of voice call service in addition to high speed data download and upload facility, Telecom said.

The Telecom will provide most affordable data package rate for both GSM and CDMA service throughout the festive season.
The company has been providing 7 paisa per MB as part of its night data package available from 10 pm to 6 am. As per the service, consumers can use 500 MB and 1200 MB data per Rs 40 and Rs 85 respectively. The night data offer will continue until December 30.
As part of the festive season data offer, the company will provide 100 MB data for Rs 50 and 250 MB data for Rs 100. During the period, consumers will be offered cost-free 10 minute voice call or 10 SMS and 25 minute voice call or 25 SMS. This offer will continue until October 15 and from October 26 to November 6 respectively. RSS
